Tummy Bowl Penang

Nice self-service poke bowl restaurant in a clean and comfortable environment. You can choose from a few pre-selected bowls or make your own. Portions were decent for the price and tasted good too. I chose a lettuce bowl with soy salmon as my main and it was pretty substantial. Fair warning: the chili flakes are pretty spicy.

First time here, and not disappointed at all. Had their signature Spicy Tuna poke. The poke combination was so good, paired with awesome sauces (not sure which one lol). Tuna was somewhat fresh and the wakame were really chewy. We can opt to create our own bowl too. Place is also clean and tidy. Not so crowded here, really is a plus point. No pork no lard.

Taste wise the food is quite tasty and goes well with the sauces. However, portion is abit small for the price charged. I ordered a hot bowl with leafy greens instead of carbs and the portion is rather disappointing. I would suggest either reducing the price if you are servicing such small quantities of vegetable/sides or remaining the price but increasing the quantity. Would love it if this area can be improved as I personally enjoy the taste of the food here but it's not able to make me full as the bowl is also quite shallow.

Update: back again 4 months later. Still encountered difficulties with paying with my Grab Wallet, but was able to settle the bill with TnG. Had a better service and the server understood my request to avoid food waste and gave me the toppings that fell out of the bowl. Overall, much more pleasant experience. Amazing food, location and atmosphere. Comfortable sitting space, considering that I have been waiting there for over an hour. Not too crowded, should be able to get a table if you are dining in. Not to mention fantastic pricing, with maybe a discount or two, on Grab. However, overall, it was not a pleasant dining experience. Portion size was mediocre. But my beef with the place was I am not impressed with the rigid customer service and attitude, alongside the limited payment options. For context, I could not pay by my card and had no cash on me. Had no choice but to order a pick-up but I was not allowed to dine in, even when majority of the table ordered in person. The staff also came over to repeat the point... Understand that they are just doing their job, but do you have to go to such extent? Otherwise, the food is still worth it. Did affect the mood of the crowd for the evening.

Very satisfying when i have vegetables craving. It fit protein n fibre just as i need. This is mostly my daily food. I ordered almost everyday via grabfood. Edit: if possible, can you please help to include calories count on each scoop what we include in our bowl (in grabfood menu).

Always is my favourite place for healthy diet. The dishes are fresh & portion is just nice.
